Textile Exhibition Poland International

One of the best platform for the Eastern European market to radiate the whole European market.

The exhibition can be said to be a win-win event for exhibitors and purchasers in the international textile industry.


Last year's review: in 2007, the exhibition ushered in nearly 600 enterprises from 23 countries and regions, including China, Russia, Belgium, Austria, Czech, Finland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Belarus, Spain, Sweden, Ruisi, Turkey and Ukraine. The exhibition area covered a total of 23000 square meters; in addition, the number of professional audiences reached 23000.

They include wholesalers, importers, chain store representatives, retailers and designers. They will go to the conference to look for sourcing, negotiate trade and find partners.

According to the survey, 88% of the participants expressed satisfaction with the exhibition.

And the relevant group buying body from Poland and its neighboring Eastern European countries has long been designated as a large procurement group for textile products.


 

The general situation of Poland textile industry -- the textile and garment industry occupies a more important position in Poland.

According to the statistics of Poland textile and Apparel Association, in 2002, Poland's textile and apparel business amounted to 3 billion 100 million euros (of which: Textiles 2 billion 100 million Europe, clothing 1 billion euro); its textile and clothing exports amounted to 2 billion 900 million euros, while the import amount amounted to 3 billion 700 million euros; by 2005, Poland's textile apparel sales volume reached 5 billion 200 million euros (including: Textiles 3 billion 600 million euros, clothing 1 billion 600 million euros).

According to the statistics of Poland Central Bureau of Statistics (GUS), the textile and clothing market in Poland amounted to 35-40 billion US dollars, the annual growth rate of textile and clothing consumption was over 5%, and the per capita expenditure of clothing and footwear was 7%.

The EU is the most important textile and clothing trading partner in Poland. In 2005, the EU exported to Poland textiles and clothing amounting to 3 billion 100 million euros. Germany was the largest textile and garment trading partner in Poland. The products of brands such as Germany HUGOBOSS and BETTYBARCLAY played an important role in the Poland sales market.

Poland has a huge demand for fabric textiles. The main suppliers are Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Korea and China.

There are 46000 enterprises in Poland garment processing industry, of which 90% are private enterprises, and 700 are over 50 employees.

Although the clothing industry in Poland is still fragmented, even though the largest producer accounts for only a few percent of the market share, the industry plays a decisive role in the whole Poland economy.
