   From September 15 to 16, LV Li, Secretary of the Party group of Huzhou Council for the promotion of international trade, visited the garment and textile and silk special committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. He had a cordial exchange with the two presidents to learn more about the industrial development and enterprise operation, and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the trade promotion work of the chamber of Commerce.

In the silk road holding group, Ling Lanfang, chairman of the company and the textile and silk special committee of Huzhou International Chamber of Commerce (City Silk Association), introduced the current situation of Huzhou silk industry in detail, and proposed that in the future, Huzhou's silk golden card would be polished through innovation and development in brand, fashion, culture, science and technology.

    Since the beginning of this year, traditional labor-intensive enterprises have to face the long-standing problems such as difficult and expensive recruitment, sluggish domestic and international market demand, rising factor prices, and rising production and operation costs. In addition, they have to face the pressure of RMB exchange rate appreciation, raw material price rise, low efficiency of international shipping and high price, As a result, enterprises "dare not take orders, export is not profitable", as well as the change of consumer concept, the increase of technical barriers lead to the increase of export market entry threshold and other new problems.

    After listening to the two presidents' introductions, Lu Li said that since the reform and opening up, textile and garment industry has been an important export industry in our city, and he affirmed the pioneering spirit of entrepreneurs and their adherence to the equal emphasis on economic and social benefits. He pointed out that the vast number of textile and clothing enterprises are the key service objects of our Association's group exhibition and certification work, and thank the industry and enterprises for their consistent support for our work. The municipal trade promotion system will continue to focus on the central work of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, highlight the characteristics and advantages, strengthen industrial support, develop online and offline simultaneously, help industrial enterprises actively integrate into the dual cycle development pattern, and work together to build a competitive modern textile industry system in Huzhou. Lu Li also invited the two presidents of the special committee to attend a series of trade promotion and commercial law service activities, such as the 2021 China textile industry "one belt and one road" conference and the South Taihu Lake salon recently held by the Council.
