Notice On Convening The Third China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference

At the 70th anniversary time of the founding of new China, in order to further promote and implement the revitalization plan of national traditional technology, implement cultural and tourism integration, promote consumption upgrading, rural poverty alleviation and revitalization, and "one belt and one way" construction, we should take the heritage of non heritage and integrate modern life as the starting point to collect the textile heritage resources of all ethnic groups, carry forward the traditional textile culture and traditional technology, and make consumption the fundamental driving force for the chain of textile heritage.

To this end, under the guidance and support of the Ministry of culture and tourism and the Ministry of industry and commerce, the China Textile Industry Federation will convene the third China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference in Kunming in from November 2 to 4, 2019. This session will draw on the essence of all previous sessions, focus on quality and effectiveness, give full play to the resource advantages of China Textile Federation and local institutions, build a platform for interaction between industry and society, consolidate all social forces and play the role of market mechanism, so that textile heritage can be deeply integrated into contemporary life and fully demonstrate the charm of Chinese traditional culture.
