The EU'S "Too Willful" British Referendum May Be A Catalyst.

EUEurope And Foreign Exchange Market

In the past two weeks, there has been a sharp change in the referendum on whether Britain is divorced from the European Union, and polls and gambling data show that the EU's support rate has dropped.

The new London mayor Sadiq Khan (Sadiq Khan) is a firm "stay Optima" after he has been dissatisfied with Germany's hands in the European Union and has been advocating the departure of Boris Johnson, the former mayor of London.

But on the other hand, the German leaders are becoming more and more interested in leading the EU affairs. They feel that the younger brothers in the EU are all ungrateful.

And Britain

Out of the EU

Compared to the risk, the Germans are afraid to let go of their troubles.

As we all know, after the Second World War, the British Empire, which had been known as "the sun never to fall", had no choice but to spend it. But since then, Britain has not been able to redefine its international role.

Today, Germany, though actively leading EU affairs to realize imperial dream in disguise, now the EU's "new empire" seems to have become a hot potato.

German Prime Minister Merkel (Angela Merkel) is afraid to admit that today's European Union is a real mess: Syria's refugees in the tide, the poor economic performance in the euro area, the currency crisis at any time, the increasingly rampant nationalism in Eastern Europe, Putin's great leap in the war, and the referendum in Britain, which are unavoidable by the EU's leader in Germany.

Considering that other leaders of the German government are also unable to provide more substantive assistance to them in this respect, despite the fact that "silent mother" intends to let Germany continue to dominate the EU affairs, the reality is far from enough.

Looking back on the past ten years of the prime minister's career, he spent a considerable part of his time acting as a tinker, and still getting a lot of undesirable results.

When the euro crisis started just now, if Merkel had the courage to commit suicide and carry out the solution once and for all, it might be quite different.

Unfortunately, Germany did not dare to play the role of taking the lead. Other European countries were not willing to unite with Germany.

Later, Germany still chose small repairs and small subsidies, so that even after years of breaking up walls and filling the walls, the hole became bigger and bigger.

The situation in Germany is also getting more and more troublesome.

The rise of the "German alternative", a local political party advocating nationalism, means that the German version of "European skepticism" is heating up and reflects the reality of internal detachment in the European Union.

This is exactly what Merkel tried to hide.

Once she can be regarded as a respectable mother, her successor will follow the agenda of safeguarding the interests of the German people.

European Union

I'm afraid it's not so good.

Therefore, the most worrying vicious cycle has begun: Germany is frustrated with the "capricious" spirit of the European Union's younger brother, and even does not want to shoulder the leadership responsibility of Lao Zi, so the possibility of reform is becoming less and less.

But now Britain's referendum may be a catalyst.

Merkel desperately hopes that Britain will remain in the EU because she understands that the voice of reform is represented by David Cameron and its leadership members.

However, if the result of the British referendum is that the people tend to opt out of the EU, there will be a series of chain reactions.

Once other countries will follow suit, they will threaten similar European referendum.

Merkel

We must not take the opportunity to seize the opportunity and make the first move in order to achieve a more cohesive and deep-rooted single market modern euro zone through the EU debate.

Therefore, for Johnson and others who advocate Britain's departure from Europe, the most ironic thing is that if Britain realizes the European Union through a referendum, it will force Germany to enhance its influence on the EU in a sense.

Germany's first headache is the protracted Greek debt crisis.

Despite repeated setbacks, the Greek authorities have recently reached an agreement with the "three carriages" to undertake a basket of financial reforms in exchange for the corresponding financial assistance to pay the interest payable at maturity, thereby avoiding debt default.

But it is clear to all sides that in the current trend, it is impossible for the Greek government to repay its debts thoroughly.

And in Germany, Greece's fiscal problems also reflect the fact that the whole continent lacks the competitiveness of the economy.

Since the euro was in crisis 6 years ago, France has only recently begun to commit itself to structural reforms that have long been undertaken, and Italy is still busy repairing its banking system.

The so-called single market has been fragmented in real terms, which means that the ideal single currency system lacks a corresponding structural basis to support it.

However, the above contempt is also adulterated with a lot of hypocrisy and self deception.

Indeed, Merkel did some structural reforms in his tenure, but the difficult task of it was actually completed by her predecessor, Schroder (Gerhard Schroder).

By virtue of the bubble of economic prosperity, Germany has been strongly condemning other European countries and compelled them to tighten their policies. At the same time, the service industry in Germany is basically unflattering. In the case of its top manufacturing industry, there is a similar situation in the West.

Some time ago, the flood of Syria refugees came to the hinterland of the hinterland.

But Merkel later thought of a way to push the boat forward.

Turkey has agreed to allow refugees to stay in the country in exchange for EU aid of 6 billion euros.

Italy and Greece also promised to prevent refugees from landing on the northern coast of the Mediterranean to continue the rescue measures.

These agreements, to some extent, bring some breathing space to Merkel's government, but it can not be disputed and questioned.

First of all, we all know the vulnerability of the above agreements.

Turkey President Erdogan (Recep Tyyip Erdogan) has strongly protested against Germany's attempt to control Turkey.

In addition, when Merkel asked for help, he received little support.

When Germany has received about 1 million refugees, Britain and France have placed only a small number of them.

As for the Eastern Europe which Germany had helped rebuild, it was even harder to kill the refugees.

And once the tide of refugees erupts again, I am afraid Germany will not know what to do.
