The proportion of one type of seedlings has decreased, and the overall growth of cotton has been worse than that of the same period last year.

Since the sowing of cotton, some cotton areas have been suffering from meteorological disasters such as low temperature, rainstorm, hail, drought and dust. However, the cotton growth is still in the normal range compared with the whole year. The cotton output mainly depends on the weather conditions in 7 and August.

The surveyed households accounted for 49.8% of the disease and 18 percentage points less than the same period last year. The incidence of Fusarium Wilt in three provinces of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangsu was relatively heavy. 45.3% of them were considered less insect pests, 22 percentage points lower than that of the same period last year, mainly the blind bug and the two generation of Helicoverpa armigera.

The overall growth of cotton was worse than that of the previous year, accounting for 30.6% of the total household survey, representing a decrease of 28 percentage points over the same period last year.

The overall growth of cotton is generally poor, and it is considered that the growth of cotton is only 17.5%, which is 16 percentage points lower than that of the same period of the previous year, while the long trend is nearly half. If the weather conditions are not improved in the later period, the yield of cotton is expected to decline.

Xinjiang's target price subsidy pilot scheme has not yet been promulgated, and cotton growers are mainly concerned about two points: first, to make up for the area, production or sale; the two is whether subsidies can be fully implemented to households.
