Pakistan'S Cotton Yarn Exports Grew By 23.97% Over The Same Period Last Year.

In the last fiscal year, Pakistan exported about 12 billion 330 million US dollars of textiles.

Pakistan Statistics Bureau (PBS) released data show that in the 2012~2013 fiscal year, Pakistan exported textiles 13 billion 60 million US dollars, an increase of 5.9% over the same period last year.

This increase is mainly due to the growth of cotton yarn exports, with an export volume of US $2 billion 240 million, an increase of 23.97% over the same period last year.

Bedding increased from $1 billion 740 million to $1 billion 780 million, or 2.4%.

Towel export increased from $686 million 380 thousand to $775 million 810 thousand, or 13.03%.

Ready-made garments increased from $1 billion 620 million to $1 billion 810 million, or 12.32%.

Other textile materials grew from $317 million 960 thousand to $399 million 220 thousand, or 25.56%.

Exports of textile products increased by 0.05%.

Cotton exports fell from $462 million 250 thousand in the previous fiscal year to US $153 million 870 thousand, a decline of 66.71%.

The export of handicrafts, silk and synthetic fiber textiles dropped from US $546 million 340 thousand to US $406 million 210 thousand, a decrease of 25.65%.

Combed cotton and carded cotton exports fell from $11 million 640 thousand to $6 million 200 thousand, a drop of 46.75%.

Among them, cotton exports increased by 97.95%, cotton yarn exports increased by 12.7%, < a href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/news/index_f.asp" > cotton cloth < /a > exports increased by 7.48%, carded cotton and combed cotton doubled, knitted apparel increased by 3.96%, bedding increased by 4.01%, garments grew by 10.3%, and other textile raw materials increased by 14.96%.

Exports of yarn (except cotton yarns) dropped by 2.06%, towels decreased by 10%, textile finished products decreased by 7.65%, handicrafts, silk and synthetic fiber textiles decreased by 22.47%.
