Under the proper PTT fiber content, the knitted fabric containing PTT fiber and its blended short fiber yarn has a comfortable elasticity, which is both conformal and movable.

However, the crease resistance of knitted fabrics with PTT staple yarns is not as good as that of PET containing fabrics.

The organizational structure of knitted fabrics is an important factor affecting the elasticity of fabrics. Therefore, it is necessary to use suitable organization, proper stitch density and yarn count to produce high elastic shrinkage fabric containing PTT fibers.
