Science And Technology

Using the raw materials and semi-finished products that are widely circulated in the market, the shoes are simplified and patterned to form shoes. This is the status quo of manufacturing technology in China's footwear industry.

This situation is expected to be substantially changed in the future.

In November 27th, Wenzhou footwear science and Technology Research Institute, with a total area of 7000 square meters and a pre investment of 60 million yuan, was formally established in Zhejiang, Wenzhou.

As the first comprehensive research institute of footwear enterprises in China, it will focus on R & D of R & D products, covering new fields of research and development of new materials, new products, popularization and application of new technologies and new technologies, and the contents of soft science such as "standardization project", fashion research, and industrial development law.

The research results will provide intellectual support for the development of the industry while serving the enterprises.

In the industry of R & D, manufacturing and sales, after heavy manufacturing, light R & D and sales, the Chinese footwear industry has begun to move towards the industry path of heavy RD and sales.

According to statistics, in Wenzhou, China's footwear capital, in 2006, the city invested 3 billion 102 million yuan in science and technology activities, and added 10 new high-tech enterprises to the national Torch Program, 14 new high-tech enterprises at the provincial level.

By 2010, the proportion of fiscal expenditure on science and technology in Wenzhou, including county-level cities, will reach 5%.

And Haier, Wanxiang, Lining and other famous Chinese enterprises, Haier Research Institute, Wanxiang Research Institute, Lining technology research and development center have achieved fruitful results.

In the Wenzhou area, CHINT technology R & D center and Delhi technology R & D center have been recognized by the national level, providing strong backing for product independent research and development.

In developed countries, in the US and Japan, the average R & D expenditure is 4% to 5% of the total output value, 4% for the shoe brand and 3% for Nike.

Although the proportion of investment is large, they lead the market of sports shoes. With the increase of the added value of products, R & D investment can basically be ignored compared with the growth of profit margins in global sales.

In fact, in order to achieve technological breakthroughs, AOKANG has invested more than 200 million yuan to introduce 30 world-class production lines, and has set up three footwear research and development centers in Wenzhou, Guangdong, Dongguan and Italy Milan in Zhejiang. Every year, thousands of new shoe models are developed, leading the fashion trend of footwear industry.

From the experience of AOKANG exporting and responding to anti-dumping, Chinese brands must realize qualitative change from "made in China" to "Chinese design" and then to "created in China".

Scientific and technological innovation, standardization and fashion have become the opportunities for China to gain more profit margins and move towards the upstream of the value chain.

Wang Zhentao, vice president of China Leather Association and President of AOKANG group, said.
