Xiqiao's textile science and technology edifice has been built in Xiqiao since last year.
According to Mai Jian Hui, a staff member of Xiqiao public finance office, the building is located on the west side of the Southern Technology Innovation Center of Xiqiao Textile City, with a total investment of more than 100 million yuan, covering an area of 4830.8 square meters, with a total of 24 floors.
The project is funded by Foshan Nanhai District Chiao Textile Co., Ltd. alone, and is designed by the architectural design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology.
At present, there are three sets of design solutions.

There are more than 700 textile enterprises in Xiqiao. Due to the lack of specialized markets and supporting services, Xiqiao has assumed the role of textile manufacturing base.
Therefore, the upcoming Xiqiao Textile Science and technology building will be built as the headquarters of Xiqiao textile industrial enterprise, technology research and development and creative design base. It will also be an urban industrial carrier with functions such as business office, product exhibition, negotiation and ordering, e-commerce and so on.
