The thirty-first China International Fur leather trade fair co sponsored by advertising and Exhibition Co., Ltd. was opened in January 11, 2005 at the China International Trade Center, Beijing.

This fur trade fair has a total area of 13 thousand square meters, the highest ever recorded, an increase of 30% over last year.

230 enterprises from China, the United States, Canada, Russia, Australia and other countries will participate in the exhibition.

Among them, 48 international exhibitors, representing 20% of the total area.

It is reported that leaders of the International Fur Federation, North American Fur Association and other international organizations will also attend the event. There will be 12 thousand visitors from home and abroad.

RIEBERSKINN, a fur clothing enterprise with a history of over 100 years in Norway, has also participated in the Trade Fair for the first time.

China fur is promoting the development of China fur industry from design innovation.

During the fur trade fair, China International Youth Fur clothing design competition awards ceremony, "charming fur" famous brand fur clothing new release performance, China fur industry forum and so on will be held around the theme of design.


The first China International Youth Fur clothing design competition ended in mid November 2004 is a new activity at this fair. The competition will lead the designer of fur clothing to design branding, socialization and marketization, creating a fashionable cultural atmosphere of clothing, thus promoting the development of fur clothing industry in China.

Contestants from China, France, Canada and other countries participated in the competition. Finally, three players from Wu Di, Liang Yan and Wang Yuanyuan were awarded the top three of the competition, and have represented China in the final of the 2005 International Fur Association Design Competition.

The award ceremony of China International Youth Fur clothing design competition will be presented during the fur trade fair.

During the fur trade fair, the famous fur designers in Italy and the marketing experts in the United States and China's fur dyeing experts guide the fur business designers from three aspects, namely, the fashion trend of fur clothing, the design trend of fur clothing, and the nitriding technology of fur clothing, so as to guide the fur business designers to know more about the colors and textures that the technology can provide them with skillful collocation, grasp the international fashion trend of fur and master the key points of fur design.


China has become the largest fur processing country and the largest fur trading country in the world.


From 2004 to November, the total import and export of China's fur reached US $4 billion 200 million, a record high, 111% higher than that of the same period last year, of which the export of fur clothing reached US $1 billion 234 million, up 187% over the same period last year.

China Fur Trade Fair will make unremitting efforts towards the goal of greater scale, internationalization, specialization and branding, and build an international platform for trade and cooperation between domestic and foreign counterparts.
