Textile And Clothing Export Labor Cost Cost Of Raw Materials

According to the Vietnam textile and clothing association, in the first 5 months of this year, Vietnamese clothing Exports grew by an estimated 35.6% over the same period last year, reaching US $5 billion 100 million.

The Secretary General of the association, Dang Phuong Dung, said the US, European and Japanese markets are the most powerful consumer markets. However, due to Raw material price and Labor cost Export revenue has declined.

He said that the challenge facing Vietnam's clothing industry is Turkey's "self defense" tariffs on textiles and clothing products in Vietnam, as well as Malaysia's "self defense" tariffs on fabric products.

In the first four months of this year, Vietnam's clothing exports amounted to 3 billion 800 million US dollars, an increase of 30% over the same period last year, and its export volume increased by 17-18% and its price increased by 12-13%.

With the growth of 17-18%, Vietnam's clothing and textile sector has maintained its competitive position and market share in the world market.

In 2010, Vietnam's clothing exports amounted to US $11 billion 200 million.

Vietnam's clothing exports have risen sharply. Meanwhile, the domestic market has seen positive signs of development, and some large enterprises are expanding.
