New cotton signed 58387 tons in 2011/12, mainly sold to mainland China (22815 tons), Columbia (7511 tons) and Mexico (5769 tons).


The shipment of 113313 tons during the week was 15% higher than the previous week, a new annual high, 27% higher than the average of nearly four weeks. They are mainly shipped to the mainland of China (40405 tons), Turkey (18091 tons), Bangladesh (8643 tons), Brazil (7271 tons), Indonesia (6618 tons) and Mexico (5486 tons).


Mainland China signed a net contract of 4528 tons a week, down 82% from last week, and shipped 40405 tons, an increase of 25% over last week, accounting for 41% of the total freight volume.
