Two years ago, Xu Jing, director of the Department of clothing at Dezhou University, suddenly started to think about the inconvenience caused by energy shortages in disaster relief.

"For example, there is no electricity in the rescue, and there is no power in the harsh environment. What should we do?" Xu Jing, who studies the clothing materials, focuses on solar energy.

At that time, the solar street lamps in Dezhou had "erected" the road and "settled" on campus.

The principle of solar street lamps is to use solar panels to absorb sunlight and store electricity for night lighting.

Xu Jing applied this principle to clothing, installed solar panels on clothes, absorbed sunlight, and pferred to batteries.

"Many electric blankets have hidden dangers, so I wonder if they can design solar blankets."

According to this idea, Xu Jing first designed solar blanket.

This kind of solar blanket is able to produce energy in the sun during the day, and it can generate energy at night.

Clothes can be used for lighting and recharging solar clothing.

Solar clothing is coming out one after another, and the teachers and students in Colleges and universities are applying solar energy concept to dress design.

Children crossing the street wearing a warning lamp can reduce traffic accidents; during mountaineering and rescue, in harsh environments, lighting and charging can be carried out by using ubiquitous solar energy; women who often pack bags have solar alarm, and automatically alarm as long as they pack away from their own meters.

In 2010, two teachers from Xu Jing and Meng Xiuli led 6 students to design and make.

Soon, Dezhou University textile and clothing engineering college took 3 series of 32 sets of solar clothing, participated in the third National College Students' energy conservation and emission reduction social practice and technology competition, and won the first prize in the whole country.

Blending traditional Chinese elements, solar clothing, shining sun City

Functional solar clothing has been on fire in the sun city. Shortly after winning the award, Xu Jingqia was asked to talk about the patent of solar energy clothing. The organizers of the fourth World Solar City showed great interest in it and invited them to attend the opening ceremony of the fourth World Solar City conference to show this beautiful fashion without losing creative and practical solar clothing.

On the afternoon of September 13th, several models were wearing intense solar rehearsal in the South Campus of Dezhou University.

The clothing is mainly white, black, blue and other colors. Under the action of solar battery, the LED lights on the clothes are bright and beautiful.
