Accompanied by Liu Wenzhong, general manager of Hong Guo shoemaking Co., Ltd., Xu Guang went to the company's cutting, knitting, technology development, outsole production, quality inspection room and other departments and workshops, to understand in detail the production process, research and development, mold manufacturing, quality inspection and other processes.

Seeing a row of the most advanced modern shoe making equipment imported from Germany and Italy, and witnessing the production process of a pair of the world's top brand shoes, Xu Guang said that what he saw and heard was shocking, and changed his inherent concept of the traditional footwear industry, and strengthened Zhoukou's determination and confidence to undertake the shift of Taiwanese Footwear Industry and build the export base of Taiwan's footwear industry in central Zhoukou.

At the subsequent symposium, Lin Zhaojie said that Dongguan is currently the world's largest footwear production base, with more than 1500 shoe making enterprises, more than 2000 supporting enterprises, and more than 1500 other related traders and purchasers, employing 2 million employees, producing 1 billion 500 million pairs of shoes annually, and the footwear industry with an adult output value of about 15 billion yuan.

Around 65% of the world's high-end shoes or designer shoes come from Dongguan. Only sports shoes account for 25% of the world's sports shoes. Among them, Nike, Adidas and other world famous brand sports shoes are mostly produced by Taiwanese footwear manufacturers.

Due to the adjustment of the national industrial policy and the upgrading of the local economic development stage, Taiwanese Footwear Manufacturers in Dongguan need to find new development areas.

After careful inspection of the footwear industry association of Taiwan, it was finally concluded that Zhoukou has the objective advantages and development philosophy to undertake the overall shift of Dongguan Taiwanese footwear industry.

Xu Guang said that the Henan provincial government has approved the construction of Zhoukou as Taiwan's Taiwan funded footwear production and export base, and will give strong support.

The municipal Party committee and municipal government of Zhoukou will firmly grasp this rare historical opportunity and give full play to the advantages of abundant population resources, relatively loose land resources and adequate and stable energy supply, so as to give full play to the footwear industry as a key industry in attracting foreign investment.

At the same time, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government will also set up a special leading group, introduce special preferential policies, and formulate scientific development plans for the Taiwanese footwear industry to enter Zhoukou, and accelerate the pfer of Taiwanese footwear industry to Zhoukou as a whole.

On the night of the preparatory meeting for Zhoukou to undertake industrial pfer projects in Dongguan, Xu Guang stressed that the targeted investment is not only a concrete action to carry out the measures of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, but also a pioneering work for the city to change the way of investment and pay attention to the actual effect of investment. It is hoped that the urban areas in the counties will attach great importance to the actual effect and seize the opportunity of the industrial upgrading of the coastal area's economic development, so as to make sure that the practice of enriching the people in line with the actual situation of Zhoukou is a solid job.
